About the Event

Aims

At this Teacher CPD event, you will explore how to build knowledge about computer architecture from KS3 and KS4. You will explore the following concepts:

  • Circuits
  • Algebra
  • Gates
  • Simplification by rule and by Karnaugh map

You will also do some tasks on 'flip-flops' during this session.

This teacher CPD is split across two sessions:

  • Session 1: 17:00 - 19:30, Thursday 30 September 2021
  • Session 2: 17:00 - 19:30, Friday 1 October 2021

This event is delivered in association with Park House School, Computing Hub for West Berkshire and Hampshire.

Who should attend?

This event is part of a Teacher CPD series that has been designed for teachers new to delivering computer science A level.
