SAFE THE DATE - 9th February 2021
To celebrate Safer Internet Day 2021, SafeToNet and Park House Computing Hub have teamed up to provide schools with a unique opportunity to engage children in KS1 and KS2 to enter a new and exciting national competition.
Key Stage 1 - Storyboard Competition
Using a provided template, children will create a short storyboard to share how to stay safe when playing games online. Winning entries will be converted into a professional animation and prizes are provided for shortlisted entries with certificates for all.
Key Stage 2 - Media Competition
Children can take an image of a piece of artwork, a video of a dance or drama sequence - whatever evidence they would like to collect to share their innovative ideas of how technology could be used to help children stay safe online. Children can enter individually or in groups of two, three or four. There are prizes for winning and shortlisted entries and schools represented. Certificates will be provided for all competition entrants.
Free offer to all schools
All participating schools will benefit from further opportunities including
- Extended FREE TRIAL licensing of the SafeToNet safeguarding app for all parents and pupils.
- Free staff development from the Park House NCCE Computing Hub.
- Free online safeguarding CPD delivered by one of SafeToNet's world-leading experts.
